I have lots of blogs in the works (in my mind at least), but I just wanted to share some other thoughts in the meantime. The following are responses that the third graders had when asked the question, "What can we thank God for?"
1) That He is kind and gentle
2) That He cares for us and provides for us
3) That He created us to live for Him
4) That He watches over us
5) That He is who He is and never changes
6) That this world is not our home
7) That we can see and read the Bible and know Him
8) That He is courageous and powerful and forgives us
9) For sushi
10) For video games
There were more responses, but I've listed only that which I wrote down. How sweet to see our Heavenly Father through the eyes of a child. May we develop hearts that can praise Him for such sweet blessings that we so often take for granted, and have faith like that which belongs to "such as these."
